Lights

Automotive headlights, tail lights, brake lights, and other exterior lights are essential safety components of any vehicle. These lights serve to signal other drivers and pedestrians of the vehicle's presence, direction, and intended actions on the road.

Headlights: Headlights are typically located at the front of the vehicle and are used to illuminate the road ahead, especially during low-light or nighttime driving conditions. They may be powered by halogen bulbs, LED lights, or other technologies.

Tail lights: Tail lights are located at the rear of the vehicle and serve to signal other drivers when the vehicle is slowing down or stopping. They may also include turn signal indicators, reverse lights, and other features.

Brake lights: Brake lights are usually located at the rear of the vehicle and are activated when the driver applies the brakes. They serve to signal other drivers that the vehicle is slowing down or coming to a stop.

Other lights: Other lights on the exterior of a vehicle may include turn signal indicators, hazard lights, parking lights, fog lights, and more.

Over time, the lenses on automotive lights can become damaged or cloudy, which can affect their performance and reduce visibility. This can happen due to exposure to UV light, dirt, debris, and other environmental factors. Cloudy lenses can reduce the amount of light that shines through the lens, which can make it more difficult to see at night or during inclement weather.

To repair or replace damaged or cloudy lenses on automotive lights, technicians will typically need to remove the lights from the vehicle and clean or replace the lenses. In some cases, they may also need to replace the bulbs or other components of the light assembly. They may also use special products or techniques to restore the clarity of the lenses and improve the performance of the lights.
